Aunt Mimi and Colt hanging out in the early a.m. at her house in Oregon.Colt took his first out of state trip this week...mom and Grandma VanHooser were relieved to see what a great travel companion he is! He slept most of the way to Richland, OR, and woke up smiley and talkative. Aunt Mimi and Colt got to know each other, but since Mim has two little boys (identical twins!) cooking in her belly right now and Colt tends to be a little on the wiggly side, they had to figure out the best way to sit together so he didn't wriggle off her belly. The pictures are of the my sister and Colt, my mom and Colt, and me and Colt. :)
Right after his bath, he's usually a happy camper.
Grandma VanHooser and Colt just hanging out at Aunt Mim'sHe is at the age where he is VERY verbal...we pretend we're carrying on a conversation: first mom or dad says something, then Colt ponders it and responds with an appropriate gurgle, screech, coo, or laugh.
Another development...the kid will not sit still! As a teacher I'm thinking...ADHD?! Surely not at this age! I think he's just a REALLY lot like his dad~likes to socialize, can't sit still, active, active, active! Little Colt will sit back in his bouncy seat and kick his legs and wave his arms, just as happy as can be.
